The Department of Homeland Security is concerned about a possible influx of migrants along the U.S.-Mexico border.
The reason? The possible lifting of Title 42, a Trump-era policy established during the pandemic that deported adult migrants due to public health concerns.
DHS officials worry that as many as 18,000 migrants a day could begin arriving at the border once Title 42 is lifted.
The CDC's review of whether or not to lift Title 42 is due by today, March 30th.
