To mark one month since Russia's invasion, Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy has called for people around the world to hold protests today (Thursday) "in the name of peace."
Zelenskyy urged people to leave their offices, homes, and schools "to support Ukraine, to support freedom, to support life."
His appeal came as world leaders, including President Joe Biden, prepare to hold a series of emergency summits in Brussels that aim to ratchet up pressure on Russian president, Vladimir Putin, to end the war.
