Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson believes the right to terminate a pregnancy is settled law in the U.S.
Testifying in her Senate confirmation hearing, Jackson said federal laws allowing abortion have been reaffirmed by the Supreme Court.
The current Supreme Court is now considering a restrictive Mississippi abortion law that could overturn Roe versus Wade, the landmark 1973 ruling that led to the legalization of abortion in the U.S. A ruling is expected in late June.
