Two people were killed in shelling of a residential area in western Kyiv early Tuesday morning as the Russian invasion of Ukraine continues.
Ukrainian officials told CNN a 16-story apartment building was hit along with three other residential areas in separate strikes.
The latest attacks come as Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is set to deliver a virtual address to Congress on Wednesday.
Many expect he will include another plea for fighter jets and a no-fly zone over his country, which President Biden has warned could trigger an all-out world war.
Some of Biden's critics in Congress argue that he's being too cautious.
