Nestle, Sony, cigarette company Philip Morris, Caterpillar, and Nintendo are among the latest companies to suspend their operations in Russia as the Ukrainian invasion entered its third week.
Sony, whose movie studio had already stopped releases in Russia, took additional action on Wednesday, saying its PlayStation gaming unit would stop shipments in Russia.
A statement said, "Sony Interactive Entertainment joins the global community in a call for peace in Ukraine."
According to a list by the Yale School of Management, the number of companies that have so far restricted or suspended their operations in Russia has jumped over 300. That includes McDonald's, Starbucks, and Coca-Cola.
