The Los Angeles City Council has voted to end its coronavirus vaccination proof requirement at indoor businesses.
But, don't leave your vaccination cards at home just yet. The city attorney's office now has to draft an ordinance that will be sent to the City Council for final approval.
It's unclear when that will happen.
Restaurants, bars, gyms, and movie theaters are required to check if customers are vaccinated before letting them inside. If the requirement is lifted, proof of vaccination will still be needed at indoor mega events like Lakers games and concerts.
