If asymptomatic, the new recommendation is isolating only five days, while wearing a mask around other people for an additional five days.
Previously, it was 10 days of isolation.
On Sunday, Dr. Anthony Fauci admitted the CDC is considering another update to include a testing requirement after pushback.
Fauci said on ABC News, "You're right there has been some concern about why we don't ask people at the five-day period to get tested.
