A Wisconsin judge has made a major ruling in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial - dismissing one of the charges ahead of closing arguments.
On Monday, Judge Bruce Schroeder tossed a misdemeanor charge of possession of a dangerous weapon by a minor, saying it was unclear whether the rifle used by Rittenhouse qualified under state law.
Rittenhouse is still facing five felony counts, including homicide, and faces a mandatory life sentence if convicted on all counts.
