Dozens of Los Angeles city and county workers are protesting against COVID vaccine mandates.
March organizers claim the protest in downtown L.A. Monday morning was not a political rally, but a united front to protect their right to freedom of choice and body autonomy.
First responders, healthcare workers, utility workers and teachers were among the municipal workers taking part.
The rally comes after a sweeping city-wide ordinance took effect Monday, requiring proof of being vaccinated from COVID to enter restaurants, bars, gyms, shopping centers and many other establishments.
