Texas Governor Greg Abbott is signing an elections bill into law.
The governor told reporters it's a great bill because it expands early voting to 12 days, noting it's longer than President Biden's home state of Delaware.
The measure bans drive-through voting, 24-hour voting locations, and unsolicited mail-in ballot applications.
Democrats say the bill is voter suppression. Texas House Democrats walked off the House floor during the regular session, keeping a vote from happening.
The measure was eventually passed during a second special session.
