Former President Trump is suing Facebook, Twitter and Google over his account suspensions.

Speaking in New Jersey, Trump said big tech has become "enforcers of unconstitutional censorship." He's demanding prompt restoration of all his accounts as well as putting an end to "shadow-banning." Trump called this a pivotal battle for the First Amendment right to free speech, adding he's confident they will "achieve tremendous victory."

Trump accused the federal government of making social media platforms the "de-facto censorship arm" of the U.S. government. He said big tech is "playing the refs" by working in tandem with all branches of the government, which he called a blatant violation of the Constitution. Trump was banned from the platforms after he posted content encouraging rioters at the U.S. Capitol on January 6th. Trump is completely banned from Twitter and is banned from Facebook for another two years.
