Former President George W. Bush is calling for changes to U.S. immigration policy.
The 43rd president recently penned an op-ed in the Washington Post and appeared on the Today show to address immigration and the need for comprehensive reform.
He's pushing for a pathway to citizenship for immigrants brought here illegally as children while also arguing in favor of stronger border security.
Bush says he's holding out hope that bipartisan solutions to immigration problems are possible.
The former President is currently promoting a new book of paintings of immigrants called "Out of Many, One: Portraits of America's Immigrants."
