Sen. Ted Cruz says he'll no longer be wearing a mask to work at the U.S. Capitol.
The Texas Senator told CNN the mask is unnecessary because he's been vaccinated and that "Everybody working at the Senate has been vaccinated".
Cruz says he's following CDC guidelines which say that small groups of vaccinated people can safely meet without wearing masks.
According to CNN, some Capitol staffers and reporters are still waiting for the vaccine, and the CDC still recommends wearing masks in public even if you've been fully vaccinated.
