President Biden will detail his new infrastructure plan during a visit to Pittsburgh today.
It will reportedly cost 2.3 trillion dollars and includes investments in thousands of public and private projects.
The plan allocates 650 billion dollars for roads, rail, and transport.
Another 650 billion will be set aside for what Biden calls "home infrastructure," such as replacing all of the nation's water-bearing lead pipes and service lines.
The remaining funds would go toward the one in six essential care workers living in poverty and investments in manufacturing, training, and research.
Biden plans to raise corporate taxes to pay for it all.
