Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene says she feels "freed" after being kicked off her House committees.
The Georgia Republican called a Capitol news briefing and said she is sorry for things she has said that are wrong or offensive.
The Democratic-led House voted to punish Greene yesterday, after accusing her of promoting extremist conspiracy theories and condoning political violence.
She called committee assignments a waste of her time and said she is now free to do other things.
