At least 3 million people have already cast early votes leading up to today's (Tuesday) runoff elections in Georgia to determine which party gets the majority in the U.S. Senate.
To put that in perspective: those numbers are more than half of the record-setting 4.9 million total votes in the general election.
Both Georgia Senate seats are up for grabs as Sens. David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler aim to hold off Democrats Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock.
If Republicans win one or both of those seats, the party will retain a slim majority in the Senate.
