The World Health Organization says the vaccine is still effective against coronavirus mutations.
The WHO's Chief Scientist says even though there have been a number of new strains, it hasn't impacted the susceptibility of the virus to therapeutics, drugs and vaccines.
But health officials are closely monitoring changes in the virus. This comes after a new variant of the virus developed in the U.K., raising questions about whether treatments would still work.
The answer so far seems to be that yes, they will.
