Several countries have suspended flights to the United Kingdom amid concerns about a new strain of coronavirus reportedly spreading across Southern England.
Ireland, Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands, and Belgium have all halted flights.
So far, the U.K. has identified more than 1,000 cases of the variant strain that health officials say appears to "spread more quickly" than previous strains.
New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is calling on the federal government to require testing or an altogether ban on travelers coming into the U.S. from England.
