Across The U.S. Voters Flock To The Polls On Election Day

The race for one of Iowa's House seats was decided by just six votes.

A recount was held in the race for Iowa's second district, after the initial count declared Republican Mariannette Miller-Meeks the winner by a margin of 47 votes.

While Democrat Lisa Hart gained ground in the recount, Miller-Meeks held on by just six votes to take the seat. The results are expected to be certified on Monday.
