The Georgia Secretary of State's office is firing back at allegations that the Peach State's election process was somehow "rigged" or "compromised." Voting implementation manager Gabriel Sterling says there's too much misinformation floating around.
Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger touted Georgia's elections as safe and secure. This comes after repeated attacks against Republican leaders in the state from President Trump. Raffensperger says the second vote recount in Georgia is on track to be finished by Wednesday night's deadline.
Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger says his office is investigating some third-party groups allegedly trying to register ineligible voters ahead of the January 5th runoff.
Raffensperger explained one such third-party group is apparently telling college students to register in Georgia, then change their registration back to their home state right after the election.
