Looks like the House of Representatives will be keeping Nancy Pelosi on as House Speaker.
On Wednesday, Democrats nominated Pelosi to retain the Speakership for another two years. Republicans have nominated House Minority leader Kevin McCarthy.
The House will vote on a Speaker when the 117th Congress convenes on Jan. 3rd. Pelosi is expected to win with Dems holding a 232-197 majority.
It appears that Pelosi, McCarthy, and Senate leaders Mitch McConnell and Chuck Schumer will all be keeping their roles in Congress.
