Several major news outlets have declined to send reporters to cover President Trump on the campaign trail, citing concerns about a lack of coronavirus safety precautions.
The New York Times, Washington Post, and Wall Street Journal are among the organizations who aren't sending reporters to the White House or to Trump campaign events, saying it puts their employees' health at risk.
According to the New York Times, at least three White House correspondents recently tested positive for coronavirus, including a NYT reporter who traveled on Air Force One.
