The top prosecutor in Jefferson County, Kentucky won't decide whether to file new charges against Breonna Taylor's boyfriend while the feds are investigating the deadly drug raid that claimed her life.
However, Jefferson County Commonwealth's Attorney Tom Wine said yesterday he's reviewing the Louisville police file on the raid that was released on Wednesday.
The report says messages on Kenneth Walker's cell phone show he was "clearly trafficking in marijuana and prescription medication" and may have committed a robbery prior to the March 13th raid. Walker, who had a charge of attempted murder of a police officer dropped, has claimed he fired at officers in self defense, believing they were intruders.
