After an ongoing stalemate between both parties, the Senate is set to vote on a Coronavirus relief package this week.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell announced Tuesday morning: "The Senate Republican majority is introducing a new targeted proposal, focused on some of the most urgent healthcare, education and economic issues."
McConnell suggested that the new proposal is scaled down from the one last offered by Republicans, adding that it "doesn't contain every idea our party likes. I'm confident Democrats will feel the same."
CBS News says this bill has a $500 million price tag.
