President Trump is again railing against violent protests in Democratic-led cities.
Ahead of his planned visit to Kenosha, Wisconsin tomorrow, Trump tweeted that there would be "no Kenosha" without National Guard troops that he authorized. He thanked law enforcement and the National Guard and made no mention of the flashpoint of the violent protests there.
Protests broke out after police shot a black man several times as he tried to get into his vehicle. Jacob Blake survived the shooting, but remains in very serious condition.
Meantime, Trump again slammed ongoing racial injustice protests in Portland. He tweeted that Portland is a "mess, and it has been for many years."
Trump called Portland's mayor a joke and repeated a threat to go in and "clean it up." The President has made violent protests the focus of his re-election campaign.
Democrats argue that the violence is happening under Trump's watch. Some Dems have accused Trump of provoking violence with his rhetoric.
