President Trump has signed a bipartisan bill aimed at giving small businesses more flexibility in dealing with forgivable federal loans.
Low interest loans were offered to help small businesses deal with the severe fallout from the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.
In a Rose Garden ceremony, Trump said he will push hard for a payroll tax cut.
Some lawmakers warn that a payroll tax cut will siphon money from Social Security. The small business loan program was part of a massive economic stimulus bill.
