Judge Says Lawsuit Targeting Trump's Retaliation Against Media Can Proceed

President Trump Taking Questions

A lawsuit involving President Trump and the media is moving forward.

PEN America, a literary advocacy group, claimed Trump was putting restrictions on the media or threatening to take away press passes.

A judge allowed their lawsuit to advance.

The suit also touched on threats of broadcast licenses being revoked, but those claims were thrown out. PEN America President Jennifer Egan said in a statement the Trump administration continues to attack the press "unabated."
