If it were up to the undersigned on a new secession petition, maps showing the Pacific Northwest would look a whole lot different.
Organizers in two Oregon counties say they have enough signatures to propose changing the state's borders this November.
The group, Move Oregon's Border for a Greater Idaho, is frustrated with what they say are the Beaver State's "liberal" policies, which chief petitioner Mike McCarter claims, "threaten our livelihoods, our industries, our wallet, our gun rights, and our values."
Even if passed at the ballot box, both states plus the US Congress would have to approve the change.
