Bernie Sanders went after the billionaire in the bunch of Democrat candidates vying for the White House this year, telling NBC's Lester Holt that he has a "real problem" with Mike Bloomberg.
Aired on Tuesday, the Vermont Senator admitted, "I don't begrudge his wealth, but I do begrudge a billionaire thinking he can buy the election. He has every right in the world to run for office…But he doesn't have the right to buy an election."
While Sanders is now in the lead, a new Quinnipiac poll shows that the former New York City mayor has pulled into third place nationally among Democratic voters and independents who lean Democratic.
Bloomberg is self-funding his campaign, the New York Post notes.
