A new poll shows former Vice President Joe Biden slightly ahead of President Trump in several key states. The poll, from the New York Times and Siena College, reviewed potential match-ups in six of the states where the president had his narrowest wins in 2016. In Arizona, Florida, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, a hypothetical race between Trump and Biden had Biden with a small lead of two percent or less. In North Carolina the president came out ahead. According to The Times, the results of the poll suggest that President Trump could have more Electoral votes and win the election even if he loses the popular vote.
