President Trump says "America is winning again" under his leadership. Speaking at the 2019 Conservative Political Action Conference in Maryland today, Trump listed what he considers to be his administration's top accomplishments in trade and international diplomacy. He drew cheers when he told annual gathering of ultra-conservatives that things will get even better in 2020.
Meanwhile, Vice President Mike Pence says there is a legitimate crisis at the U.S.-Mexican border. At the annual Conservative Political Action Conference in Maryland yesterday, Pence said the crisis worsens every day without a massive border wall. He vowed that a wall will be constructed, "before we're done." Pence cheered President Trump's declaration of a national emergency at the southern border.
Pence said the economy is booming under President Trump's watch. He stressed that working Americans are "winning again" and added, "America is back." Meantime, Pence touted Trump's plans for a new military Space Force. He said the U.S. must be as dominant in space as it is on Earth. Pence also cited progress in efforts to curb abortions. He said the Trump administration will always stand for the unborn.
