President Trump says his administration is making changes aimed at lowering the cost of prescription drugs. Speaking at the Department of Health and Human Services today, Trump argued that seniors are being hit especially hard as Americans subsidize the cost of drugs in other countries. The President said he will now allow Medicare to determine the price it pays for drugs based on what other nations pay. He also said under Medicare, doctors will be paid a flat rate for drug referrals when they recommend prescriptions.
