President Trump welcomed pastor Andrew Brunson to the White House. The 50-year-old pastor from North Carolina visited the Oval Office after being released from a Turkish prison Friday. Trump called Brunson a "special person" and insisted no concessions were made to win his freedom. The evangelical preacher was in Turkey as a missionary when he was imprisoned on terrorism charges for two years. He strongly maintained his innocence. The President and Brunson both thanked senators and others who worked to gain his release. During the visit, Brunson dropped to one knee in the Oval Office, put his hand on Trump's shoulder and said a prayer for the President.
