Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is taking another swing at Democrats over the Supreme Court nomination of Brett Kavanaugh. Opening the Senate today, McConnell said Dems will not be satisfied, regardless of what a follow-up FBI investigation reveals. He argued that Dems are very adept at moving the goalposts. The FBI is looking into allegations of sexual assault, which Kavanaugh has loudly rejected. With November's midterm elections looming, McConnell hopes to get Kavanaugh confirmed as soon as possible.
