Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh is strongly denying a sexual assault allegation from a woman he went to high school with. At times angrily testifying in a Senate hearing today, Kavanaugh said his family and his name have been "totally destroyed" by a number of unfounded allegations in the past 10 days. He said the Senate's role of advise-and-consent has become "search and destroy." He rejected all allegations of assault or serious misconduct. Christine Blasey Ford testified earlier that Kavanaugh assaulted her at a house in Maryland in the 1980s. She is now a college professor in California.
