An explosive northern California wildfire is still less than half contained. Cal Fire says the more than two-week old Carr Fire burned another three-thousand-acres in Shasta County in the past 24 hours and containment remains at 47-percent. Total structures destroyed has been adjusted downward slightly, from just over 16-hundred to just under, but about 280 more have been damaged. The fire has killed seven people, including two firefighters and a PG&E lineman.
