Las Vegas Police say they still don't know what motivated Stephen Paddock to carry out the deadliest shooting in U.S. history. Police issued their final report today on the mass shooting on the Las Vegas Strip. Las Vegas Sheriff Joe Lombardo said investigators could not determine what motivated Paddock to fire from the Mandalay Bay, killing 58 people attending a country music concert in October 2017. Paddock's brother told investigators he had not spoken to him in more than ten years and he thought his brother might suffer from a mental illness. Police said they determined Paddock acted alone and they do not anticipate making any arrests. Paddock killed himself as police were about to enter his hotel room.
