The judge in the Paul Manafort trial is asking federal prosecutors to stay focused. Judge T.S. Ellis warned they were spending too much time on the price of the suits after a government witness described Manafort as being one of his best customers at a luxury menswear shop. Ellis also asked why it was necessary for the prosecution to question an FBI Special Agent about Richard Gates, Manafort's former business partner, if Gates is going to testify later on. The prosecution said Gates may testify or he may not testify. To which Ellis responded that calling Gates instead of having him testify would be a waste of time.
