Amidst all of the images and videos of crowds protesting President Trump’s visit to England a dual broadcast co-hosted by an American radio host alongside an English radio host to discuss different point of views was must hear radio.
In what made for a very interesting hour of radio, Joe Pags held a dual broadcast with BBC Radio 5 Live host Adrian Goldberg to discuss protests amidst President Trump’s visit to England. Our listeners were able to hear from UK callers, and our callers were given a chance to have their voices and views heard on London airwaves.
As BBC Radio 5 host, Adrian Goldberg, shared at the start of the broadcast,
“We’re really keen to get a view from the United States and get a sense from your listeners there of what you make of President Trump’s visit to the UK, in particular the protests. And I’m particularly keen on this side of the water for 5 Live, to hear what our listeners have got to say both in favor of and opposition to.”
You can hear the full hour broadcast in its entirety below as well as watch the Facebook LIVE stream video of the broadcast.
Are you surprised by some of the views brought up by callers from the UK?
