There appears to be an early favorite to take over for Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy.

President Trump is reportedly asking advisers about nominating Utah Senator Mike Lee for the job.

Trump thinks Lee would have an easy time passing a Senate confirmation vote.  But Trump is also concerned about Republicans losing control of the Senate if Lee leaves his seat.

Lee says he was honored to be on Trump's short list, and says he "would not say no" if nominated.  Lee's brother Thomas, who sits on the Utah Supreme Court, is also on Trump's list.

Do you think we'll get a confirmation vote before the midterms?  Or are we in for a long battle over filling Kennedy's spot?
