A study found that there are 6.3 fast food restaurants per 10,000 residents. That's the most per capita in the nation.
Nebraska is number 2 on the list with 5.4 fast food joints per 10,000 folks. West Virginia is number 3 with 5.3. The state with the fewest fast food restaurants per capita is Vermont.
McDonald's and Subway top the list of the largest, most popular chains in the research.
