The Trump Administration is upping the ante a bit when it comes to taking action against Russia.
President Trump is expelling 60 Russian intelligence officers from the United States and ordered the closure of the Russian consulate in Seattle.
The expulsions come as a result of the poisoning of a former Russian spy and his daughter in Salisbury, U.K., earlier this month.
In a statement, Sarah Sanders said: "Today’s actions make the United States safer by reducing Russia’s ability to spy on Americans and to conduct covert operations that threaten America’s national security."
The Russian operatives being expelled will be given seven days to leave the country, according to senior administration officials.
How will the Russians respond? What kind of tension will this cause between President Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin?
