In a time where controversial statues seem to always be in the news, you can add another to the list.
Increased security has been added by the Maryland Stadium Authority around the Ray Lewis statue outside M&T Bank Stadium. A spokeswoman confirmed the addition of security personnel to the Washington Post.
The move came after a Change.org petition was circulated earlier this week calling for the statue's removal. The reason? Lewis took to two knees during the National Anthem before Baltimore's game on Sunday in London.
