As housing affordability weakens, more buyers are left out in the cold
Homes priced under $200,000 made up 44 percent of the market in 2010. Today, they are just 16 percent of new, for-sale construction, data show. New home sales continue to increase steadily, but the sales tend to stick to the pricier end of the spectrum. Are we in for another housing bubble in this country?
