$65K reward offered for info on this mornings’ fatal shooting of Deputy Clinton Greenwood

The search continues for the killer of a 30 year veteran, shot in Baytown, Texas early this morning. This afternoon, Governor Greg Abbott announced an additional $15,000 was being offered for information leading to the identification of a suspect. 

Assistant Chief Deputy Clinton Greenwood of the Harris County Constable’s Office (Precinct 3) was shot this morning at approximately 7am as he arrived for work at the Harris County Courthouse in Baytown. He was airlifted to a Houston hospital where he died. 

Chief Greenwood, age 57, was a 30-year veteran of Law Enforcement. He worked for nearly 30 years at the Harris County District Attorney’s Office and also worked at the Harris County Sheriff’s Office where he held the rank of Major. Greenwood earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Rice University and a Law Degree from the South Texas College of Law. Greenwood was also contracted as an attorney for the Houston Police Officer’s Association and the Houston Police Officer’s Union.
