The Longhorns will have their starting quarterback back on the field this weekend. Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers will return from a two-game absence to lead the Longhorns against Big 12 rival TCU on Saturday. The junior left Texas' win over Houston on October 21st with a sprained shoulder. Ewers has thrown for 1,915 yards, 13 touchdowns and three interceptions. He also has five additional scores on the ground this season. Redshirt freshman QB Maalik Murphy will revert to his backup spot after leading Texas to a pair of wins.
