The San Antonio Spurs will hold its annual Media Day at the Victory Capital Performance Center on Monday.
This marks the unofficial start of a highly anticipated 2026-27 season following the franchise's return to the NBA Finals.
Training camp begins Tuesday.
The Spurs are coming off a 62-20 season that saw them finish second in the Western Conference before making a run through the playoffs and defeating the defending NBA champion Oklahoma City Thunder in seven games to win the West. Their season ended with a five-game loss to the New York Knicks in the NBA Finals.
Victor Wembanyama enters the new season firmly established as the face of the franchise. The 22-year-old averaged 25 points and 11.5 rebounds last season, was unanimously named NBA Defensive Player of the Year and earned Western Conference Finals MVP honors.
