After campaigning in Ohio and Alabama this weekend, President Donald Trump is preparing for another trip to Texas.
Trump, who was here last week, will be in San Antonio on Wednesday, stumping for Republican Senate candidate Ken Paxton and Congresswoman Monica de la Cruz.
At a campaign stop for Republican candidates in Dayton, Ohio, Saturday night, President Trump said he's made tariff his favorite word, but that hasn't gone over too well with the news media.
"I called tariff my favorite word and the fake news killed me, they said 'What about God, what about family, what about wife, children, what about things such as that, so I made 'tariff' my fifth favorite word," he said.
"And now they're okay with it," he said to rising applause, adding that he liked having substituted the word "super" to create Super Intelligence from the old term, Artificial Intelligence.
Artificial is still a good word, the president said, and it could be reserved for describing the "fake news" media.
Artificial news is okay, but he added that "I like the word fake better, I made that up a long time ago and it still seems to be quite accurate."
