Five Students Treated After Ingesting THC Gummies At Northeast Side School

Five students reportedly ingested THC gummies and had to be treated, according to a report from our tv partner News4 San Antonio.

The emergency call came in from Harmony School of Innovation middle school, near Montgomery Drive and Glen Terrace.

According to the News4 report, dispatchers said the students were between 11 and 12 years old, and an EMS assist was requested.

In a statement from the Bexar County Sheriff's Office, deputies said that it "does appear that five juveniles ingested gummies that were reported to contain Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC)."

"We are still in the early stages of investigating. All children are stable at this point," said Deputy Joshua Hamby. "I will provide updates as I receive them."

The condition of the students is not known at this time.
