Trump's Super PAC Is Spending $500M On Republican Campaigns, Including Texas

With just 54 days to go now until the November midterm elections, President Trump's Super PAC is spending half a -billion- dollars to help Republican campaigns.

That includes a much needed boost for Ken Paxton's U.S. Senate race against James Talarico.

"President Trump's Super PAC has already invested $10 million into Texas in the Senate race, as the first buy" said Aaron Evans, president of Winning Republican Strategies.

As we noted here recently, some of the RINO's in Washington are still furious that Paxton beat out John Cornyn, and so they continue to not support him.

"Never underestimate the ability of D.C. to act like infant children" Evans told KTRH, "But ultimately at the end of the day, Texas is very much a focus and it is on the table."

President Trump said that he would personally have a say in which candidates and races receive financial support, and he told reporters at the White House that his reasoning is simple.

“We’re going to spend a lot of money because we don’t want to lose our country,” Trump said.

It's a big amount. The big question is, will it be enough?

"Republicans never need as much money as Democrats in order to win" noted Evans, "We've got the best ideas, we've got the best message, it's just getting out and having enough money to cut through the clutter. It's definitely an extremely strong addition to the hundreds of millions that will already be spent."

President Trump also said he plans on personally campaigning in roughly 35 of the key GOP competitive races.
